Cutting losses

Cutting losses

A Poem by dukovan

You found me out inside of this house.
How did you think I would look?
It would seem a great seam is dividing the two mes.
Always, as so it would seem.

You saw my shadow,
my ghost in action,
so fond of subtraction,
in addition to acting through me.

Your flashlight is casting in all directions.
Find your focus through me,

in between, inside and out.
Cut out my body and feel me without it.

I'm cutting my losses.
Keeping faith in the causes
can cause your faith to get lost.
I find comfort in that thought.

Alter boy
Alternatively,
is turning the tables towards mirrors, I see.

I'm filling my shape with the stars,
and letting my whole world escape.
The stars in my eyes
and my whole world inside
are watching me slowly die.

I'm cutting my losses,
keeping faith the causes.
I can cause my self to get lost,
but find myself within the thought.

This poem is very interesting. I really like this. It does have a hidden message from what I have read.

Interesting style in your piece. That's usually one of the first things I notice. However your content is equally as intriguing and also impressive. Nice work!
