Leaving to stay.

Leaving to stay.

A Poem by dukovan

Calming my head in the breeze.
A top the roots,
father I'll leave.

Finally I feel something;
A cable attaching and
surging through me.

From the ground and up to the sky
I'm coming back down in the night.

There was lighting in your eyes
and your son in the sky.

Call it a prodigy night.

Finally I calmed the family.
Got to leave to stay,
you see.

There's nothing to see here
unplug your TV.
You're made out of lighting, you see.

The moon is my mother
and dads in her eyes,
she has yours in the night

I can see us inside
when he leaves every night
In a frame on a mantel
in a dark house by candle.

Prodigal sun in the sky
leaves every night
leaves every night...

Inspired by the sun. I like this. Like with all poetry, people must read and sometimes read them. They do make sense. Good work.

A lot of interesting, subtle word play in here. Thanks for sharing.
