taking back your time.

taking back your time.

A Poem by dukovan

Your going to take your shadow elsewhere
and take back your time.
I've got a date with a headache,
and I'll think to sleep through it.

Eventually you're always sleeping again.
Probably it won't matter when.

I stole your body from your parents house.
I gave some light to them and you
But the thing I seem to hate,
is sleeping in my brain.

I hope eventually you'll get to sleep.
So I can miss you again.

When it all comes back to save you from yourself,
don't struggle to hold onto things you thought you felt.
I'm sure you've seen this all before
behind your eyes is dripping wax,
hollow and hungry for more.

I hope I can get to sleep
so I can see you soon.
We're working different shifts
and I don't know who's who.

this is exactly the kind of mind f**k I've been missing out on from you, man.
this thing drizzles uncertainty into confusion and borderline dementia from sleep deprivation
if it tried to make more sense it would make less sense
which makes me more curious about the process than the exact subject matter
I hope your music's going well
