Don't know

Don't know

A Poem by dukovan

We found ourselves below the bridge
avoiding traffic laws.
I was pacing you into a frenzy of love loss and mercy
but only for now.
My God, you're perfect
in shape and complexion
and how
do you suppose
anyone else would know.

We lost ourselves sleeping
avoiding the people above our heads.
I was feeling for reason when you awoke me quite frightened.
"Not now,
I spoke with eager tone.
I would have liked to know,
but only just now.
And how
do you remind me
of what I already know.

Lets not go there again.
Lets not go anywhere again.
At least that's what I want right now.

And how could you remind me of what I don't know,
getting lost in our bedroom
oh no.

Its a shame seeing I've got nowhere else to go.
"No,
lets not go there again."

You seem to remind me of where I've never been
so I think you ought to know.

I should go where no one can find me
not friends or my family.
Do you miss your family?
I would like to know.

mmh. :)
Knowing what shouldn't be, yet still wanting to keep those things civil.
I really enjoyed reading this because I felt like it related to me and my old boyfriend.
