Winning/losing

Winning/losing

A Poem by dukovan

When I told you I was taking you home
you didn't understand.
Now I'm standing at the door
and you're mom doesn't know why.

I could find an equation,
one plus one is three.
You finally know what it means.
So do we ever really lose anything?

Suffer me down to the ground
but send out the seeds so they'll see.

I'm tired of taking it out
on those of you I've let in.
What did you mean by "friend?"
I knew,
when I lost them.

I had nothing I wanted it all.
Who's really winning,
after all?
