Our bodies.A Poem by dukovanCheck the vid!! A little drunk but oh well
(verse)
i cut out your body from a letter you wrote. It read like the future of you and your ghosts. Tomorrows paper was left on my porch. its a black and white sea that could swallow my soul. If you can touch it, then it must be real. There's nothing to see here Its just how i feel. (Chorus) Someone followed me home, to a place i don't know; a way I don't normally go anymore Don't you follow me home. (verse 2) i heard my parents died and our knocking demise. there's bodies upon bodies and more coming to life. There's a fear in a name of a man i don't know. So i opened the door and the breeze swept me home. Advice disconeccted, they left me alone. The bodies keep stacking and I'm playing their songs. (chorus) Someone followed me home through a way I don't know; a place i don't normally go, anymore. Don't you follow me home (Bridge/outro) I cut out your body to fit in a song. The ones your still writing with me. If you can touch it then it must be real. There's nothing to see here its just how you feel, i feel. © 2012 dukovan |
