April fool.

April fool.

A Poem by dukovan

I left your head behind a curtain
playing hide and seek.
The moon fooled me one April evening
when I thought I heard it speak.

I'm not as much of a mystery as I make myself seem.
Holy blessed brain beget my sinner friend.
But when you spoke you spoke to me.
Beget your friends so i can sleep.

I left the branch with waxy dreams
snapping off a piece.
I'm still not sure why I keep it
but they see hope in me.

What fool you are for making yourself seem
above the other heads drowning in the same sea.
but when you spoke you spoke to three
and I saw your fear for them like me.

April showers came and went.
They flooded most of everything.
I finally surfaced jealousy
I understood everything.
I felt love again.
I could finally sleep
in peace.
