Racist b*****d.

Racist b*****d.

A Poem by dukovan
"

growing up in the middle of nowhere, in a place that stands still in time, then moving to a more colorful area, and bringing some bad tendencies back, including some racism.

"
i'm sipping my coffee black
and a black man quietly intimidates me
two stools down.
What a way to know myself.

i need a good thing
in my life.
So i'll scrap myself
and salvage my bones
and start all over again.

it happens all the time
I'm no better than me.

Pour me another cup.
Tell me about your mother
its universally apparent
in this powdered creamer dust.

i know its wrong
as i stagger your skin
and bring you to the surface
of our identical sins.

You're no better than me.
i'm grinding my teeth.
feeling for cavities.
You're no better than me.

Whats happening behind your teeth?
You're no better than me.
we're much more than me.

although I should point out I've never been a racist, just lacked understanding.
