![]() suburban blues.A Poem by dukovan
Whats left to do
in my fathers house with those suburban blues. I read your hues. You said, "The sky is the limit, but those houses swallowed you." Now I remember everything as I digest your similes. You're nothing as you seem, we're inciting different dreams. You read the words in red tacked on the ceiling Your flushed pale skin started peeling. Its just like that dream where your roof is gone and you can't remember what you'd lost. I know I can't help; I can only speak. "It was just a dream, it was just a dream." I'll nightmarry you and echo your cries, as long as I'm living as long as I'm dying. © 2012 dukovanReviews
