Who knew?

Who knew?

A Story by dukovan

We're on a constant exit
riding towards no where
but that's alright.

I've got a timely compass
that's keeping track of me.
I know someone is watching.

I stared into a road sign
squinting, until I could make out what it said.

By the time
I arrived
I was convinced.

We're constantly repeating one another
and another is feeding you lies.

My brain aimed the compass;
My heart was shooting arrows.
I'm always watching me.

I just had to get closer
I caught gravel and spun and hurt my head.

By the time
I arrived
you knew.
