Lessons and time.

Lessons and time.

A Poem by dukovan

Stick a sword in a stone and a king me.
Stick it in your skin and colly cry.
Can you undo anything?

Make your move and win me.
Queeny questionnaire with the silent treatment won my eyes
and re-gifted them for a dirty surprise.

My father tried to be a doctor.
Everyday since
he speaks less and less.

There's a lesson to learn I'm sure,
though to try is just absurd.
My eyes still don't work
the way they should.

Your mother still isn't sure
if she should blame your dad or herself.
Its just absurd.

Sticking pins into dolls for a reason;
witchy woman doesn't need one,
at least not for someone else.

Tearing up the carpet as if to say we're done.
The floor wont absolve me with all those stains;
there's a story for each one.

I'd ask you not to absorb me,
instead lay by my side.
The time is time enough.
