a plan

a plan

A Poem by dukovan

I am allowed
no more than I take from the day.
What am I owed
for my urgent endeavor to keep out the rain.

You need a guy.
A fiery face inside of a plush winter sky.
I need the time
to do the things you want me to hide.

I am detached
from a reason to squander the branch
where the egg I had hatched.

I've got a plan
but I slur when I talk,
so I need a map and a band.

What a personality to keep to yourself.
Your serving someones purpose
make sure you have your health.

Go now,
and take the twigs.
You're proof of something great.

Go now and play the thing.
It'll all end the same.
