Who am I to tell you?

Who am I to tell you?

A Poem by dukovan

I turned you off to the T.V screen.
I set a fire in a heated ice queen.
I killed a lion on an awkward stage.
The kingdom's come on the last page.

The roofies slipped and I can't feel a thing,
I broke my wrist on a frozen pond.
Its wore off now and I haven't blinked.
Now there's a story for a blinded king.

My dad died just before I did.
He hummed along and took his roots with him.
I sealed my eyes shut and felt a tune
that convinced me things will always bloom.

My mother drugged me into wanting more,
when all I wanted was to know the score.
I watch the clock more frequently everyday.
my time is up now ; I've got nothing
to say.

I've got a reason to die young,
and I'm sure I heard it from someone else.
The biggest stranger
is the one who avoids their mirrors.
Don't believe a word I say.
