All I know

All I know

A Poem by dukovan
"

Its about accepting that I don't need to know everything. I have my family, my wife. Live and let live. I'm not ok, its not ok, but thats ok...you know?

"
When the sirens called,
I was asleep in bed,
wrapped up in someone elses dream.

Neurotic, thinking the worst,
I jerked up and assumed absurd.
I was hoping for the best.
Now all I want is some rest...

I know the rest
of this cursed plan,
repeating things.
The trees, the sand
are breathing and sparing me.

There's thing I thought I had to know.
Repeating them,
I doomed myself,
though I won't let anyone know.

I am the sand,
sink into me
stretch your roots,
and sway with the sea.

For now you're all I know.
