Make it seem like we never needed it.

Make it seem like we never needed it.

"

lyrical rant

"
Our closet case is closed,
at least until next week.
A surfaced tension
is pulling on the heart strings.

Your skeleton's framed
up on the mantel.
When our folks come to visit
be sure to smile.

Fire in my belly
I'm burning towards tomorrow.
Smothering the smolders
smoking in the shower.

The inspection is coming,
and you aren't even up yet.
Your sleeping through my sermon,
"God doesn't love you!"

Its not your fault
you're perfect.

Its a convenient annoyance,
its worth it.
