Now and then.

Now and then.

A Poem by dukovan
"

My first pure lyrical I think, some musics gone with it, seems to fit well into musical structure. Just saying I'm excited about it, let me know what you think.

"
You're last stop or
why you came
are neither close to home
or going to stay.

Autumn aches
my chilly bones.
I am the leaves
and the seasons have me close.

I'm swept away to another home;
I find familiarity in your face.

Going back to the last place we came
was never really the same.

Going back to the last place we came;
we were never really the same.

A graduation I'll never know,
besides the black and white
grainy photo's.
"Oh,the ones I didn't know....
should've let them tell me so."

"Besides we can't go back."
"Besides we're right on track."

Roads are growing out my back,
I only glimpse now and then.

I don't know how I missed this, but I am so glad I found it. It seems to me that your work is evolving in a wonderful way! I, too, wish I could hear the music you hear when you pen your work. One day, hopefully we can.

For your first true self-proclaimed lyrical piece, it's very well done. I espcially like "Autumn aches / my chilly bones. / I am the leaves" beautiful! I'd love to hear you sing this--I'm very curious as to how you bound these words to which musical notes and from which instruments. It sounds very ... ray LaMontagne-esque in my head lol

This was beautiful, and I'm sure it's twice as amazing with music to it. The only problem I found was, in the beginning, you used "you're" instead of your.
Other than that, bravo!
