My Jello wasn't ready.

My Jello wasn't ready.

A Poem by Kirsty Lee

Gritty cheese crumbs brush my chest,
I look down with a head hung in shame.
Never wanting to look up again,
At your shallow back, leaving.

I swim in this jello world.
It tastes like cherry,
but today it is a definite macadamia nut.
Far too sweet and unforgiving.

And as I reach with clutched hands,
my manicured fingers are just to far away.
But I lift my dry eyes for one last peek,
To catch you before the bend.

Before everything we were,
just had to end.

I am a little eccentric, wild if you must, and terribly blunt. Yet, underneath all the smiles and hyper bubbly exterior; I am very sweet. I love to relax the day away with a good book. To be by .. more..
