were you real...

were you real...

A Poem by The Dreamer

I didn't know what colours are,

Untill I saw you.

I had the least clue about togetherness,

Untill you sat beside me.

When the 'mine' and 'yours',

Converge into 'us',

When we drop every strand of hesitation,

When we are set on the same road,

That's the time I will say to you,

That's the time we shall feel each other.

In this journey aka life,

You are the traveller,

And I am just a nomad, by dissolving myself in you,

Who looks for salvation.

If this world ever made sense to me,

That's only after I understood you.

If I gave up my sleep,

That's only to catch some extra minutes with you.

I have heard the miracles, feelings can do,

You ask mountains to move,

They quietly will.

You ask rivers to switch direction,

They will obey without questioning.

I wish to perform a miracle too,

With the same vigour of the feelings,

But not asking the mountains to move,

Not asking rivers to change course.

My miracle happens,

When you blush.

My miracle happens,

When you calm my nerves down.

Believe it not,

I didn't realise my passion,

Untill you made it happen

Just have one little grammar suggestion to make on the first little stanza thing before I get to the fun part of this:
On "I didn't know what colors are" you might want to make are were and on "I had the least clue..." You might want to make had hadn't
But other than that I really liked this. The flow was very nice throughout and I liked how you pointed out different things that took on a while new meaning after you found this love.
