Hello again

Hello again

A Poem by Dave W.
"

Sometimes I have to vent into the void

"

Hello again

dear reader

hello

how've you been?

me?

I could be better

I could be worse

I could just not be

I don't know

empty as a jug of used milk

maybe is me

vacuous for certain

a fountain

seeking to be

filled

filled

filled

forgive me dear reader

for dumping on you like this

but who would I tell

who could I tell

what face

would read my eyes

and understand

none but the page I pen

Pen?

what a weird phrase

in this digital age

archaic at best

to write joyfully

to read and be blessed

It would be nice

Pleasant  words that I could

speak to this troubled heart

to soothe

oh this ride again

did it have to begin

how long this time

will it leave with rhyme

this spell won't last

the morning will shine

the feeling forgotten

distractions are a blessing

just sometimes late at night

I walk through the halls of memory

and pierce myself with regrets,

thank you

dear reader

for giving me your time

I love you

my faceless friend....
