Blood Moon

Blood Moon

A Poem by Dave W.
"

I think on so many things

"

Twilight of life,

silent  serenade

auburn beauty sings

she calls in celestial melody

Luna blushes in crimson majesty

solace now found in nostalgic reverie

I can still taste her lips

she was the spring of my youth

I contemplate winters isolation

Those sweet kisses and the Spring time love. Always will be a part of us.
(I can still taste her lips
she was the spring of my youth
I contemplate winters isolation)
I liked the above lines Dave. In a long life. Our memories become our gold. Thank you my friend for sharing the amazing poetry and your thoughts.

You did well Dave. I enjoyed the poetry.
this describes seasonal affective disorder very well. Other kinds of disorders as well, things seem to follow in pattern. Seasonal mental disorder... it's about to be summer somewhere so, hopefully

Summer is on its way I think
You can still taste her lips, David.
That is passion,
Then you say, "She was the spring of my youth
I contemplate winter's isolation"
Don't do that. Flow into the love people are trying to give you, Dave W.
You're a passionate guy. It oozes out of you periodically.
Let it come, David. Please.

Don't listen to me.
You are you, an enigma.
A strong love or encounter that transcends perceived time.
The things to long for at the twilight of our life.
Wonderful piece Dave.

Thankyou Costa for the kind review
You can still taste her lips? ... I adore you.

Your writings are things of beauty.

Things of mystery..."Things" just doesn't capture what you produce... Awesome.

You once asked, "Why focus on me? I am nobody." And that is why.
But one thing you are. An amazing poet. You entertain many females here.
It will all come to the surface.
We all love you.
