Golden lands

Thank God for poetry and the beauty it can bring.......

 

In between

light and dark

joy and sadness

lies the longing of new lands

 

places where Muse inspires

lone wanderers

romantic poets

searching philosophers

 

those willing to tread paths of

love and loss

feeling emotions fury

 

they peer into the soul

bringing back treasures

 

there is a land of imagination

where inspiration’s light shines

 

that reaches to the dark

of an isolated soul’s horizon

 

shining rays of luminescence into the gloom

beauties’ touch that brightens the heart,

 

Oh let me visit that country divine

to shine as those before

to make glad hearts and minds

visiting those golden shores
