Crazy together

Crazy together

A Poem by Dave W.
"

Love is a drug store of crazy pills

"

Crazy

I wait for your call

the room spins

with so many what ifs

my chest pounds

like a slave galley tympani

I am ensnared

heart bound

you drive me on

I wake in the middle of the night

Is there any word from you

my happiness is in your hands

what was life before

gray

dull

bland

you are my hi-definition lens

bright  fervent feelings within

you are my addiction

do you understand

what I have become

I am a sacrifice

I have lost myself in you

you are the world

I  wander your lands

there is no going back

I am no longer he

that began this trip

I am now we

half you

half me

Made me think of the sailing ships that had the one guy hitting a drum for the rowers
YES! This is what I'm talking about! FEEL IT! If you don't FEEL life, David, you might as well be dead, love.
