Persona ridens

Persona ridens

A Poem by Dave W.
"

Smiling mask

"

A smile I'll wear

so don't worry

In laughter I hide

pain you won't see

A happy facade

is what I will be

 grass that is greener

full of fakery

 A cross to bear

 we all have our own

burdens not shared

all kept at home

why would you care

you'll tire of the groan

then you'll beware

and off you have flown
