Manifest desires......

My love, 

my heart, 

my great desire made manifest, 

I wait for you, 

I hunger for you. 

Each beat in my chest calls your name, 

each inhale brings desires hope, 

each exhale releases anxiety acutly felt. 

Stumbling forward I wander, 

your face is my north star I follow faithfully, 

an expected end is my great reward. 

Fingers touch, 

silken caress, 

soothing balm,  

relief sought in the desert of want, 

my oasis and souls respite. 

Your words succor my mind, 

I recall them daily, 

they are my bread, 

they are my refreshing spring fountain, 

I visit them nightly drinking till I'm drunken with thoughts of you, 

I wake to an empty bed punch drunk by reality, 

the dream was so real, 

so sweetly experienced, 

there are no more tears to weep, 

thus begins the cycle again.
