Autumn's DelightA Poem by Dave W.There is so much hope for the future.....Foot steps fall on Autumns path, leaves of gold and red dance, natures display of august delight. Walking I think of her rose lips, greedily drinking that wine, intoxicated by her fragrance. She strengthens me with a word, she speaks life into my soul's desert, she is my cup , I am poured into her. I am baptized by passions flames, my impurities have been purged, I come forth as pure gold, I shine as first mornings light. The end of the year, new beginnings arise, my north star shines in the darkness, Illumination ignites hopes pure light. Portents of winter on the horizon, the last maple shed its former glory, racing my hearts stirs for what could be.
