Juxtaposed Predicament

A poem exploring the human condition....

Raw emotion, 

beating within, 

I am isolated, 

I am rejected, 

I am undone. 

Oh let this feeling die, 

yet this feeling brings me life, 

what a contradiction, 

what a juxtaposed predicament. 

what a poison I have ingested. 

Happily I will weep with this sadness. 

Who could I tell? 

Who would understand? 

I am damned and forsaken, 

within reach is death and desire for a promise. 

Why did this comic tragedy, 

happen to a nobody like me? 

Who am I that such a trail would be given, 

there is no answer I could understand, 

there are forces at work mightier than I. 

Oh rip me in two, 

let me do what's right and wrong, 

what is this dark futures end.
