Call Out

Call Out

A Poem by Dave W.
"

Poem of longing....

"
Call out into the void,
hearts desire speaks sweetly.

Darkness covers and masks.

Connection where are you?

These ties are loose,
need makes itself known.

Touch where are you?

Greedily fingers fumble around,
thirst in a desert longing.

Talk to me satisfy my ears,
show me your face satisfy my eyes,
sing to me satisfy my soul.

Deep hunger's need beckons,
alone waiting for an answer,
solace in solitude sought,

Gentle flame burn bright,
warmth continue through the night,
morning will soon arrived,
days light will shine,
there is hope with time.

the theme of longing, which often features in your work, is expressed as an almost futile thing in this blue-dyed piece. i often experience skin hunger and it really drives me nuts. while i enjoy solitude, i know that it is not the answer to everything. however, it ends on a hopeful note, the morning comes and reveals the abyss of night was just a phase. if you can keep the faith, maybe, so can i.

Yeah longing and hunger have pretty much been the theme of my life.
Nature do wonders..

Solance in solitude sought, ... we indulge in our lonieless some trying to fight it back lonely ... it can also be that time where we find ourselves...

You write so naturally... 🙂

Thank you Jey, sometimes the words just flow, other times they are mined.
