The grave is cruelA Poem by Dave W.I hate death, it robs us of love....
Silent I sit emotion raw,
tears stream into pools of sadness. This pain of loss, oh love, you have cut again, this heart bleeding, this mind screaming. I visit this truth of life, a father, a dog, a cat, a wife. All gone with pieces of me, I am now lessened, I am a chasm, hallowed out, poured, and emptied. Torn asunder once again, feeling this is too much to bear, regardless of my desires, I will carry the weight once again. Sorrow please leave, I didn't ask you to visit me, just go and never return. There just aren't enough tears, I am spent, a damn run dry, I still wish for more to weep, there is only a void.
