Time is a teacherA Poem by Dave W.Learn the lessons while you are young.....Walked paths of revelation, look into the mirror of time, see myself more clearly, now older a few more grays in place of brown. What have I learned, seems people don't change, everyone looks different but feels the same, I look different but feel the same, when did that happen? My musical taste frozen in time, to visit past moments pleasure, my minds oasis from insanity. I do know that I know less now, than what I knew when things we're newer. Some battles I should have learned from I return to, some wisdom I should have taken I am now listening to, some past hurts I now release from any debt owed. I no longer have to be right all the time. I've now learned to bend and not break. I was once told "Never pray for patience", I am still waiting for that prayer to get answered, I wonder how long it takes.
