New Friend

I like meeting good people.....

I met a friend today, 

in a much interesting way. 

Her face I never have seen, 

connected by words on a screen. 

What a time that we live, 

to this friendship I give, 

encouraging words true, 

for times hard feeling blue. 

Seems strange to me, 

this new society. 

It's ways to connect, 

but this feels correct.  

I want nothing more, 

than a friend for sure.
