A poem of good byes had with friends and those we love....

Good bye my friend, 

my confidant, my love, 

my heart.  

Good bye to our conversations into the night, 

where we shared dreams of tomorrow, 

our hearts delights.  

Good bye my hearts counselor, 

one who I confide, 

who I open up to willing vulnerable.  

Good bye to shared memories, 

the shoulder I shouldered in hard times, 

who shouldered me.  

Good bye sweet presence,

 beautiful silence shared, 

peace understood.  

Good bye future, 

I knew how the story would end, 

by my side there would be my friend.  

Good bye to your beautiful mind, 

full of wit and wonder, 

you taught me new ways to see the world.  

Good bye my anchor, 

my foundation strong, 

when everything shook, 

we stood together.  

Good bye my better half, 

my smiles, 

my joy, 

my reason, 

Good bye...

Willing looks grammatical,, Make it a bit more poetic

Change the word order too
foundation, strong
too, strong foundation
