Laments statute erected,
memorial to the past, regularly visited and maintained. This monument to failure, mistaken words written and spoken, are a chiseled epitaph, emblazoned at its base. How long of a shadow it casts, features worn by time and tears. A cold look from dead eyes judges silently, it's existence says it all, I suppose I could tear it down, but then I would lose my past and forget, no I think I will tend to it just a bit longer...…
