DreamsA Poem by Dave W.Poems of dreams that feel so real....Walking in amber fields august beauty, I see my true loves home afar off. Waving stalks golden crowns cast down, she beacons me, I oblige that request. My loves' embrace plays in my minds theater, surely I should arrive soon to her delicate features, ivory skin. Drinking in deep emerald eyes, I delightfully swim, silken crimson locks run through my fingers, rose scented, still no closer. This journey travelled, this eternity trod, I will continue faithful for my love waits. I have finally made an end of marathons trek, I have stumbled and tripped, I have finished this course, The prize is mine. I go to kiss those sweet lips, to awake to a happy dog, hungry for breakfast. © 2024 Dave W.Author's Note
