Poem for that illusive mistress Muse......

Muse keep your arms open to me, 

enlightening my eyes, 

sharpening my mind, 

giving me the words to write.  

Oh Muse I need you so, 

your witty quips, 

calling to remembrance past sayings, 

ancient wisdoms' tales.  

Muse what sacrifice will satiate, 

will suffice, 

what should I give to keep you by my side.  

Muse whisper in my ear, 

something that connects, 

something impactful, 

something meaningful.  

Muse how long will you stay, 

so many others have left, 

why should you be different?  

Muse while you are here, 

I will embrace you, 

a place at my table has been set, 

tonight we dine.

Well, there are times when you just need to be held. : )
When the time is right, words will find you. ( That's how it is for me, anyway )
Most of the time, my muse is in the clouds. : ) I know she'll come out to play, when she's ready.

at one time, i actually had a muse (she hated being called that). boy was it fun having her around. she ran off eventually though.

I don't care I will respond this last time. Some things that a woman's love can inspire a man to do, is face fears knowing their is a good woman with arms open waiting for him come home to. A woman who says 'I believe in you" can give strength to a man he didn't know he had. Men need women more than they know. We all need each other. This will be the last time I will respond but I had to.
