Destiny

Poem about destiny and the drawing force it creates in our lives.

My friend, I love you with the force of the cosmos,

that divine spark which  love fashioned, 

love formed, 

love created.  

Connection deep, 

souls entwined, 

mingled, 

unified beings now one, 

one heart beating in sync, 

that eternal rhythm.  

My friend I have searched this life over for you, 

my treasure, my great reward, 

my sunrise, my sunset, 

eclipsing me, portent of the future.  

I'll not share this moment, 

our oasis, 

our paradise, 

our secret place.

There is truth in your eyes,

promise in your lips,

safety in your arms,

home in your bosom.

I am home, no longer wondering.

We owe it all to destiny, good and bad. Which is always a good excuse to blame her (destiny) when it all goes a bit pear shaped and fails, but on the plus side we at least know that how crazy this thing called life gets and how bamboozled we become, there is at least something/ someone guiding us through the crazy maze of life!
