Hunger searching

Poem of longing for the deeper things of life.......

Hunger starved,                               

connection desired,

heart beating,

full feeling,

genuine truth.

 

Desert oasis,

eyes staring,

longing respite,

thirsty souls drink,

thirst quenched.

 

Puddle deep,

experiences despised,

cotton candy nourishment,

vapid, void, vacuous.

 

Abyssal meaning,

treasures sought after,

arms open,

hoping, loving,

needing you.
