Driving down a midwestern american back road right as the leaves are falling is a beautiful experience. I imagine Oregon has a bit more leaf appeal. One of my siblings lives in a tiny town way up in the northern Californian trinity alps (she would not want me to say which "town"... they aren't even towns really, it's kinda weird up there). There's a lot of evergreen up there but there's plenty of everything else as well... It's a delightful place for most of the year, though... I will pass on the winter. That s**t gets out of hand. You guys are crazy up there...
