Luna

Luna

A Poem by Dave W.
"

Just a common night....

"

Luna hides her crimson smile,

behind clouds of a starless night.

Darkness grows,

the obscure is common,

by  lack of her pale light.

Loons cackle their tremolo songs,

stir from rest and take flight.

Cats are kings hunting prey,

all seen in feline sight.

Moths float on evenings wind,

all silent tonight.

Peace now,

rule of the land,

the nocturnal delight.
