Autumn chill

Autumn chill

A Poem by Dave W.
"

Early morning autumn chill moment captured and felt...

"
Crisp autumn wind blows past,
remnants of the summer are taken away.
Change has arrived,
faithful and constant.
Contemplation of the year that’s spent,
the year still to come.
Thankful for the blessings,
learning from the pain,
hoping for the future,
silent in the present.
Early morning stillness on city streets,
quieted homes rest peacefully awaiting the day
I'm lost in calm habitation of mind,
silent reverie of life,
my place in the world.
A chill runs through,
I snap out of thought,
I wish I brought a sweater…..

Smiling at your note. :) 42 is always the answer.

Yes, seasons change and temps rearrange.
While we wish some things would stay the same, they're not meant to.
We must be ready, indeed.

A friendly reminder to grab a sweater next time. :)
That Autumn wind can create chill bumps. Brrrr.

Thoughts gained in advance that move from here to there - somehow similar but each having its own intention..
