Never

Never let the negative experiences of life steal the life you are supposed to live

Never curse the surprises of life, the unexpected resistance and strife.

When all seems to quake and tremble, people motives unknowing, dissembled.

You’re caught off guard, shocked and amazed, disoriented, your head fog hazed.

Things will be clear, you soon will see, the hardships of life, shaping who you’ll be.

 

Never curse the future concealed, with enough time the truth is revealed.

The curtain pulled back, the stage is now set, a story unfolding, you soon won’t forget.

You’ll look behind at events come and gone, revelation will show you’re never alone.

With the knowledge you’ll gain, revelation now clear, the future so bright, is nothing to fear.

 

Never harbor bitterness in heart, past hurts remembered, feeling pierced through with a  dart.

Unforgiving and mad, you’ll sit, and you’ll stew, wondering why they ever did this to you.

As time goes on by, the offenders long gone, still memories will haunt you and carry on.

Learn to forgive, release and be free, love those who once hurt you, true happiness is key.

wonderful wonderful words in very fine rhythm and rhyme!! i love the trip in this poem through all kinds of adversity .. with a focus on what those things can teach us and how positively they can mold us ... it we just have trust, faith and forgiveness .. i love it .. reading has blessed me this morning 6:30 AM .. it is the fist poem i read so far. :) the only thing left out is the forgiveness of our own selves ... that's not a criticism ... your poem doesn't need anything more or less. .. i would have to struggle long and hard to say something important and helpful in everyday language that rhymes and keeps up a flow that is natural .. well done says i ... oh! congrats on the Writer to Watch .. that's how i found you .. peace and joy
