Days

Days

A Poem by the wretched
"

that was now and this is then

"

Yesterday, you asked about Tomorrow,

and now Tomorrow's come,

our focus now, one day too late,

and all t'was said and done.

this is how its always been,

there are no fresh new starts.

let Tomorrows turn to Yesterdays,

and Yesterday we're breaking hearts.

i'd like to think, to walk away,

would do a little good,

turning Never, into Someday,

if only, we just could.

but here we are, in Yesterday,

hurting and lamenting,

brick by brick, build Somedays tomb,

and every thought, cementing

maybe Tomorrow, we'll return,

with flowers for it's grave,

and chat about the pity,

that Someday could not be saved.

How very sad! Not a single spec of hope?!
The flow was very good, the rhyme kept well. I found it interesting how you used capital letters to give the words concepts. Hopeless, sad but, well penned.
