The 36th HourA Poem by Secret Life of Methis is not just about childbirth, it's more about reaching the point in your life when you don't know how you'll go on....The pains, drawn out and abandoned - Help isn’t coming around the bend.
Your body separates
From your soul And every breath you draw Comes gratefully, tragically~
There’s nothing left
Of the strength you had: Your blood has clocked out already, No sun peeking in between the blinds at you No puff of air blowing across your forehead.
It’s the 36th hour
And the doctor says It’s coming any moment But you don’t believe it.
