MORNING ROSES

A perfect morning... a perfect day

As I rose to a great morning,
So did the morning dew-
Awaken the sleeping roses,
Making my heart sing in melody;
"Oh! What a perfect day".

As I opened the windows,
I was greeted by the elegant roses.
Responding quickly,
My heart sang again in melody;
"Oh! What a perfect day".

With a heart filled with joy,
I raced to the rose garden,
To be engulfed by their sweet scent-
As it blossomed in the morning,
Preparing it for the day's trials.

Just like a kid,
The fears of the day were taken away-
By the sight and smell of the elegant roses.
Making my heart sing more in melody;
"Oh! What a perfect day".

Was inspired by a friend's poem on" PERFECT DAY"

A perfect poem describing the inherent beauty of a joyful and a beautiful day. It sang me like a song ,well use of words and repetition of phrase "Oh! What a perfect day", quite lyrical.
