OH! THE LIFE OF A POOR SOLDIER

A poem summarizing the life of an average soldier in war

Like a lion

With our chest out and up in the air

We keep our courage

Hoping to win the fight

For the peace of our fatherland

 

Picking up our guns each morning

Fighting till the last drop of our blood

We keep going

While celebrated as heroes of war

We hope not to fall

 

Having our best friend always by our side

Trusting only our gun

And believing in the three “W”

Womanizing, wining, and war

We pray each morning not to be betrayed

 

Oh! the life of a poor soldier

Sacrificing his life for our peace

And his joy for our happiness

We hope not to forget him

Celebrating him in every day of our life
