To an elusive person.

To an elusive person.

A Poem by dsouzaman

Your mind is a like diamond
encrusted, walled city of doom.
The financial and cultural capital
with the trappings of every failed venture and dream.

Your hands are like the desert sand.
Milled, coarse grain
weathering down everything
without a plan.

Your eyes, razor sharp
twin mountain peaks.
Glazed, unmoving
terrain holding back a hundred armies.

Your influence is wide
intentions combined.
You’ll swallow the world,
and you’ll do it blind.
