A Poem by dsouzaman
"

A playful, frustrated look at being at the mercy of your inner muse.

"
I'm told to sit, and I do.
I'm told to write, and I do.
Let beauty arise from the work I've sowed.
But that was it.
Where the bleep is this poem I'm owed?
A straight rhyme at the end would have been sick,
but divinity forces me to ruin it,
with this?
S**t.

"Let beauty rise" has better musicality, but this is otherwise enjoyable and well done.

Amusing and relatable; I really struggled today to get anything written down. Nice work!

Thanks, it is frustrating how much you can't control with the process.
