A Conformity LessonA Poem by Aaron Burnette Standing, facing the fork, Looking down one of two roads, Which the identicals walk, like zombies in cadence. Scratching my head as jagged, anorexic shoulders Collide into mine while strangers saunter Down "Well Known Street". My vision turns, Clears while looking down "The Road Less Traveled[1]" Which so many neglect to consider. I stand, ponder for a second To which path leads to my endless salvation, The one I will forever live within. I take a blind leap, a deaf risk, Head down "The Road Less Traveled[1]"... Looking forward to a promised Auburn Summer.
