Silly Romantic...You're Lost; Sitting, Picking Petals In A Daisy Patch

Silly Romantic...You're Lost; Sitting, Picking Petals In A Daisy Patch

A Poem by Aaron Burnette

You'll never catch me
Wear my heart on my sleeve
Nor see the blood lines run
Like Race Horses
Down a lurid arm.

Too many a time
Do you question the look on my face.
Believe me. It's real.

You carry flowers
Given to you by your
Knight Prince,
Who dazzles in silver armor.
Don't be naive.
The armor is only there
To cover up who he is.

So decide quickly
Because I sit here
Picking petal for petal for you
*She loves me, She loves me not*

HURRY!

I am running out of daisies...
