The Hero Forever Burns in Hell For This S**t

The Hero Forever Burns in Hell For This S**t

A Poem by Aaron Burnette

So I thought love was never a game
But you proved me wrong

You dragged my heart on a leash
Through caked mud
Leading it to a conclusion that never existed.

You used me like a dirty rag...
I was clean
You used me to mop up your intended.catch.

I blame myself.
It is all my fault.
My insecurity and lack of confidence
Chokes my aspirations .
I shot them down when I loved you.

It was all worth it.
I will forever burn in hell for this s**t....
