You Broke The Egg and Spilt The Yoke.

You Broke The Egg and Spilt The Yoke.

A Poem by Aaron Burnette

You cracked it once before...
You dropped my heart upon the stone-cold marble.
Landing, it breaks like broken egg shells,
Leaving huge fissures instead of a minute fracture.

Do you know what you have done to me,
Do you even care,
No concern nor worry cross your eyes' path
When you look at me.
All you see is him,
The Suicide Soldier...

Best Friends
Break like broken hearts
Because of you...
Because of me
and who I am...

You broke my heart twice...This time I'll finish the job for you...
